Applications for RSKU homes must be made online through LPHS’ online portal at http://lphs.selangor.gov.my/ because unlike other housing schemes, you can’t apply for an RSKU through paper documentation or in person as the team at LPHS will be the one who decides whether or not you’ll be eligible to apply. The team not only takes your salary into consideration, but 2 other main points: your current work place’s address and where you currently stay, or if you are already living in the state of Selangor. Once you’ve signed up for your account via the link above, you will need to provide some documents to confirm your eligibility.

Your application will be assessed and if it's successful, you’ll be notified via letter or email to confirm that you have been selected for the property under this scheme! Hurrah! But before you celebrate, there are a few other notes that you need to remember because RSKU homes come with a few conditions.

And that just about covers RSKU homes, folks! Even though RSKU homes come with quite a few rules attached, this housing scheme is meant for low and middle-income citizens, especially first-time homebuyers who need affordable housing. And truth be told, it sure is one heck of a good scheme that the government has offered for the people to find a place to call their own.
