Ahh, the woes of buying a home. Homes have always been here since mankind but even though it is an industry that’s been around for centuries, the process of home buying is something many people have absolutely no clue about. And here’s where I’d like to step in!
Say hello to Myra’s Homebuying Hub! It is a platform and a digital solution for homebuyers who face issues with home buying! Throughout the years of being in the property industry and a developer who builds homes for the people, I have heard many woeful stories on the many issues homebuyers face just to get a home of their own even with the simplest step like booking a home and waiting to see if they are eligible for a loan. So with these stories in mind, I’ve decided to create Myra’s Homebuying Hub that’s going to help streamline the entire home buying process for you, and to make home buying a million times easier, more exciting, and a heck more straightforward, making sure that everyone gets the same experience with my home-some consultants. So take a look at what’s being given!
What It’s For:
Now, the booking process right now is a conventional one that’s being practised by every developer. Sure, placing a booking sounds simple, and it should be! But the things that come with booking a home makes the entire process a whole lot more long-winded and complicated because they are things that new homeowners are not familiar with. Furthermore, oftentimes with the introduction of the homes, the calculation for instalments are all manually done on a piece of paper that all of us would definitely lose. So Myra’s main objective with Myra’s Homebuying Hub is to ease your burden as my homebuyer and to digitize the entire experience that will meet all of your needs especially with this first, but a big step.
How It Works:
The Old Fashion Process
Now, the conventional process of booking a home is quite a boring and tedious one. It all starts with you going to the sales gallery and having the grand ol tour of the entire development. Next, a sales consultant will then take out a booking form and a blank piece of paper. So if you’re keen on the home, the sales consultant will fill in details such as the home’s SPA price, the rebates you’ll be able to get, and then it’ll lead on to the calculation of your monthly instalment for the home loan. You will have all of that info on a piece of paper which is rather overwhelming and let’s admit it, real messy. If you’re keen on booking the home, they will then fill in the booking form with your personal details and then proceed to take a snap of your IC. You’ll need to pay a booking fee and will receive a temporary receipt from them. Then you’ll head back with the piece of paper that holds all of the details of the home you’re eyeing. Days pass, your sales consultant texts you that they need a list of documents from you for your loan application, you may or may not have an idea of what it is but you would need to take time to figure them out. In the midst of it all, you lost the paper that holds the calculations of your home and you forgot that you need to do a credit check to see if you are eligible for a home loan and will need to head back out to Bank Negara, wait in line for your free credit report, and then head back. It’s a mess, you get stressed, your hair falls out.
But with Myra’s Homebuying Hub, it’s different.
The New Process with Myra
So a homebuyer walks into Myra’s Sales Gallery and the person that’s going to greet him is no other than our home-some consultant who’s going to take you around and introduce you to our project and that’s where the magic happens!
If you’re keen on the home and want to know more, my consultant will register an account for you and fill up the digital booking form that’s going to show you every calculation and detail. So that’s one less paper and something you can read and refer to at any time because all you’ll need to do is log in to your account! You’ll make your booking and my consultant will take a picture of your IC with the app. You have nothing to worry about because you’ll see that your IC has been automatically watermarked. Your home-some consultant will then request your permission to do a credit check via CTOS to see if you’re eligible for a home loan and will take you through all of the details of the home you’ve chosen such as the SPA Price, monthly instalment, and rebates you’re entitled to alongside an entire list of costs that you’ll need to prepare for as a homebuyer. You will also be taken through a section where we’ll go through and list down the details of your lifestyle like the commitments you’re currently having your income, and we’ll do a little calculation like how the banks do it to see if you qualify for a home loan! It’s easy, it’s simple, and Myra’s Homebuying Hub and your home consultant will explain everything with useful little tooltips for your reference so that when you head back home, you can view the entire upfront check again without having to have any hassle and worry of forgetting a single detail! You’ll be able to refer to the entire upfront check at any time and when the time comes for you to provide a list of documents to the bank, Myra’s Homebuying Hub will give you a list on the app with templates and tooltips on where and how you’ll be able to find these documents so that you won’t have to go on a long search back and forth. Once you’ve found them, simply upload them on Myra’s Homebuying Hub and your home consultant will be notified! What’s best is that even if I, Myra have any important letters or documents to send to you, you’ll always have a digital and physical copy for your reference as we’ll send them both! So say bye-bye to inconvenience!
